Les Enfants Terribles !!! AGAIN ?!
NO !!! This time is not in Tokyo, but in Paris !!!
Oh mon dieu, I'm missing you guys in Tokyo while writing this blog...
Ray, Amilus, Sharon, Emily, Lindsey.....
I still remember the "les enfants terribles" in Tokyo was pretty good...
but today, my job is posting all the photos of the food I had here... :)

不要問我怎麼又吃了一次Les Enfants...
並沒有!!! 因為這次是在巴黎!!!
寫這篇的時候真的讓我超級想念你們大家的
在東京和我一起吃Les enfants的親友們!!!

It is one of the restaurants in the Michelin Guide Paris 2010.
no starred but a three forks one.
at a very good location which is just one minute walk from Champs-Elysées.
The reason I want to try this is just because it has the same name as the one I had in Tokyo!!!
and I heard from Sharon that she and Jerome have tried the one in Lyon.
(well, they have no any relation though. the one in Tokyo, the one in Lyon or even this one in Paris)

他是我的米其林巴黎2010裡面有三個叉子的餐廳
叉子代表著餐廳氣氛(由一到五,五是最高)
至於為什麼我會想試試看這家
只是因為他跟我在東京吃的那家的名字一模一樣
(但我發現他們好像沒有甚麼關聯性)

然後Sharon曾經說過他跟Jerome有吃過里昂的!
雖然好像他們之間也沒甚麼關係??
反正我就想試試看巴黎的拉!!!

 the menu is also very mignon :D

但蠻好可喝的!!!


Bread & Butter & Salt
I love the plate. It is made by charcoal or stone.
Though I know they are not natural, but they do look natural. lol
I found that I love this way of eating bread !! with BUTTER & SALT
這兩張沒有甚麼
就是他們的麵包, 奶油跟鹽巴
我發現我蠻喜歡一起配來吃的, 每次都不知不覺就吃了很多麵包好飽
還有我喜歡他們的盤子好像是石炭做的

My entree: Pumpkins velouté black truffe emulsion
I think I am addicted to it already...
我的前菜-南瓜濃湯
不知道為什麼今年冬天我一直喝南瓜湯, 但是就是好愛

see how thick this is...
I have problems with thick things...LOL
超濃的吧! (但我覺得之前吃的Coq au vin得更濃)

M's entree: Pan-fried duck foie gras, mango chutney and anis
麥可的前菜: 左-麵包 中-芒果 右-鵝肝
好吃! 鵝肝就是要吃法國的!

我的主餐: 鴨肉 洋姜

Simple: Steak ! Steak ! Steak !
the steak here is EXECELLENT ! not too difficult to chew and the taste is perfect.
I really don't know how to take a good photo in such a dark place plus the food are all in black...
by the way, the streak came with a bowl of mashed potato :)
這就是牛排囉
很不好意思我忘記這是哪種牛排
而且超難照的因為燈光加上牛排醬汁顏色太暗又太像, 不怎麼美觀!
但這個真的很好吃, 很軟, 不會太難咀嚼
跟著這盤牛盤一起上的是一碗馬鈴薯泥, 好吃但是當然非常肥

這是這家我們最愛的東西- 不知道怎麼命名他? 巧克力蛋糕切開後裡面的巧克力會流出來
中間是鮮奶油 右邊是香草冰淇淋
像在天堂一樣的好吃 !!! 配在一起又不會太甜 剛剛好 有一點熱又很冰

要離開之前在餐廳旁邊有一個吧台 可以在這裡坐著喝
但很多客人都是待在吃飯大廳裡點雞尾酒
然後這位先生就在這裡作
作完後就端到客人面前

Food:

Excellent
The good thing is their menu changes from season to season
and the one I posted today is an Autumn menu.
So the food supposes to be FRESH.


食物: 

非常好吃, 好吃到家
他們的菜單會隨著季節變換
所以理論上食物都蠻新鮮的


Ambiance:

Well, I thought it should be the kind of restaurant which is not too noisy,
but in fact, they play loud music, as I remember, it was like pop music
I cannot say if I prefer the restaurant with calm music or loud one
but it depends what you want to do there.
for this restaurant, I recommend to have parties, friends reunions,
but not like a calm date with your boy/girlfriend.
and people there do not have to wear formal, casual is totally fine.
and I think maybe after around 11pm or later, Les Enfants Terribles will turn into a pub.
so it's really a party place. 


氣氛:

一開始我以為是一個偏安靜的餐廳
但其實真的還蠻吵的
流行音樂, 大家講話很大聲
個人覺得比較適合朋友聚會, 趴踢之類的
不是一個太浪漫的地方
所以不太適合跟男女朋友有一個安靜的晚餐
服裝也不用穿的正式
是個穿紐仔褲也能去的餐廳
記得很晚之後整家餐廳應該是會變成一家夜店之類的(不是很確定)


Service:

One word- SUCKS
They served every plate one after one, without pause.
We just finished our entree and they brought the main plat.
What the hell !!!
Normally, it should be like
now we finish one plate and we will rest for 10 minutes or more for the next plate.
but they just came one after one,
literally, ONE AFTER ONE.

and the attitude of the waiters sucks as well.
Yes, they asked about how the food is,
they asked everything just like every waiters in other restaurants,
they pretend to care about customers,
but they show no attention on their faces,
Whatever you say is shit.
Like we told them that the main dish is served too fast,
and they answered "yeah it is like this", then turned away directly.


服務:

非常差

1. 上菜速度
他們前菜來了,看到我們吃完後
大概不到五分鐘,馬上主餐就來了
我是不知道是不是我們吃太慢還是怎樣
可是也太不專業了
哪有人吃完前菜主餐就來了
是要我們反胃嗎?
我們沒有很想馬上吃, 可是不吃會冷掉會變不好吃
真的很令人傻眼
所以我們甜點只點了一個兩個人分

2. 店員服務態度
一般來說, 他們都會問客人覺得餐點怎麼樣
他們也會問, 可是!
就只是問好玩的
像是外國人見面都會問"你好嗎?"
但也只是問問誰管你好不好
所以當店員問我們的時候
我們就反應他們餐點上太快
結果他們就說"喔這樣阿", 然後轉身就走
我心裡想"你到底是問屁阿"

it depends on how many dishes you order and with drinks (cocktail, wine..) or not.

看你是不是前菜主餐甜點都點了
還有飲料, 像是調酒或是紅/白酒
都還蠻不便宜的
